Description: Tremlett’s Bitter is a popular Devon variety, commonly found throughout all the cider growing counties. Ground colour is yellow flushed bright, mid red; slightly striped. Flesh is white, sweet astringent producing a tasty juice, high in tannin. Full bitter sweet cider when mixed with other varieties. Crops well, can be biennial. Also frost resistant.
History: Raised in Devon in 19th Century.
