Description: Swan is a very worthwhile dessert plum. Produces round red-purplish fruits that have a heavy purple bloom. Flesh is juicy, sweet and has the most pleasant flavour. A good dessert plum but better for cooking into cakes, crumbles and jams. A favourite of the Evesham plum growing area. The tree itself is upright and spreading in habit. Beautiful white flowers appear during the spring. A good versatile plum!
