Malus floribunda: A very pretty tree in flower, displaying crimson buds opening to white and pale blush petals which come earlier than most varieties. Small, red-yellow fruit in autumn.
Prunus ‘Kursar’: A beautiful small tree with a spreading habit. Masses of deep pink single flowers in early March, that are very popular with bees. The ovate leaves are coppery when young, followed by rich autumn colours of red and gold.
The trees included in the Spring Blossom collection are bare root and one year old, they will be a single stem which may be pruned back to encourage branching. For further information on how to prune ornamental trees click here. As bare root trees they will be despatched between November and March when dormant.
