Description: A small upright growing tree with pinnate, sharply toothed leaves that turn purple/bronze in the autumn. Clusters of heavily flushed and pink flecked white fruits in late summer-autumn.
History: A seedling raised at Hillier Nurseries in 1958 by one-time foreman Alf Alford.
Sorbus Growing Tips: Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. Hardy and tolerant of urban pollution and coastal conditions.
