Full Description

Description: Sorbus ‘Autumn Spire’® (Flanrock) is a small, deciduous tree, upright when young, columnar in maturity, with pinnate, bright green leaves turning purple, red and yellow in autumn. A profusion of yellow berries with reddish centres contrasts well with the excellent autumn leaves.

History: A seedling from Sorbus Joseph Rock. Received the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit.

Sorbus Growing Tips: Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. Hardy and tolerant of urban pollution and coastal conditions.
