Description: Sorbus auc Aspleniifolia also known as Rowan or Mountain Ash is a medium sized tree which forms a broadly pyramidal shaped crown and a somewhat more upright shape than other Rowans. The attractive feathered foliage is mid-green, turning orange and red in the autumn. Creamy white flowers are produced in spring, followed by clusters of red berries that are a favourite with wild birds.
Sorbus Growing Tips: Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. Hardy and tolerant of urban pollution and coastal conditions.
Height and Spread (after 10 years): 5m x 3m
