Description: Skeena is a high quality self fertile variety. Fruits have dark red skin and ruby red coloured flesh, well-balanced sweet-sharp flavour. Best when eaten fresh. Heavy cropping and has some frost resistance. Picking mid to late season when few other varieties are available.
History: Developed at the Summerland Research Station, Canada during 2000. Introduced to commerical growers in 2005. Bred to be resistant to fruit splitting.
