Description: Rosemary Russet is a high-quality dessert apple. Orange-reddish brown flush over greenish-yellow with purplish-brown stripes and fine brown russet patches. Flesh is cream white. Firm, fine-textured, rather acid and juicy with an excellent sharp but sweet flavour. Crops very well, unfortunately the fruit is too small for commercial use. A great garden variety!
History: Raised in England, first known is 1831 by nurseryman Ronalds of Brentford. Received an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society in 1993.
