Description: A beautiful tree renowned for its bright golden pinnate leaves throughout the summer. Young twigs are bright brown and have striking wine red thorns that later turn brown. Pendent clusters of small fragrant pea like white flowers in mid-summer.
History: Raised at the nursery of W. Jansen in the Netherlands in 1935.
Robinia Growing Tips: Grows in moderately fertile, will tolerate poor dry soils. Position in full sun or dappled shade, sheltered from cold winds.
