We offer a 15-Day Happiness Guarantee from the date you receive your order. If you are not completely satisfied, you may initiate a return or exchange within this period.
Step-by-Step Guide to Returns & Exchanges
Step 1: Initiate Your Request (Within 15 Days of Delivery)
Please contact our Root Care Team at [email protected] to begin the process. To help us serve you swiftly, include the following in your email:
- Your full name and order number.
- The item(s) you wish to return or exchange.
- The reason for your request (e.g., plant health upon arrival, incorrect item, change of mind).
- Photos of the plant or item, if applicable, to help us understand the issue and improve our processes.
Step 2: Receive Instructions & Return Authorization
We will respond within 1-2 business days with:
- A Return Authorization (RA) Number.
- Detailed instructions for packing your return.
- The return shipping address (which may differ from our business address).
- Any special instructions for caring for the plant during its return journey.
Step 3: Pack & Ship Your Return
For Plants (Fruit Trees & Bushes, Ornamental Trees, Small Trees, Soft Fruit, Tree Collections):
- Please repot the plant into its original container or a suitable temporary pot if possible.
- Moisten the soil lightly to protect the root system during transit.
- Pack the plant securely in the original shipping box or a similar sturdy box with ample cushioning.
- Clearly write the RA Number on the outside of the box.
- Ship the package via a trackable service. We recommend using a carrier like DHL or FedEx for speed and care.
For Non-Plant Accessories: Please return items unused, in their original packaging.
Step 4: Our Inspection & Your Resolution
Once we receive your return, our nursery team will inspect the item within 3-5 business days.
- For Exchanges: We will ship your replacement item promptly. If the requested item is out of stock, we will contact you to discuss alternatives or issue a refund.
- For Refunds: Upon approval, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.

Refunds: Timing & Method
Your care and trust are paramount. Refunds are processed with intention:
- Timing: Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification of approval. Your refund will then be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal) within 5-10 business days.
- Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to an alternate payment method or account.
- Shipping Costs: The original shipping fee (for Standard Shipping) is non-refundable. If you received free shipping, the value of the standard shipping fee ($12.95) may be deducted from your refund.
📝 Important Considerations
Non-Returnable Items: Due to their perishable and living nature, all plants are final sale once they have been planted or significantly altered from their original received state. Our guarantee covers the health and condition upon arrival. We cannot accept returns for plants that have been in the ground for an extended period or whose failure may be due to local planting conditions, climate, or care beyond our control.
Restocking Fee: There is no restocking fee for items returned in their original, resalable condition.
Damaged or Incorrect Items: If your order arrives damaged or is incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you, including prepaid return shipping if necessary.
