Description: Queen’s Crown, also known as Denbigh or Cox’s Emperor produces large, round oval pink-red fruits. Flesh is yellow, similar to Ponds Seedling but of better flavour. Good heavy crops, flesh clings to stone. Quite possibly the finest eating variety the Plum family has to offer. Delicious when eaten fresh from the tree when they’re fully ripe, or cooked into crumbles, jams and cakes when slightly underipe.
