History: An open field pollinated seedling of P. nipponica v. kurilensis, of which the other parent is P. conradinae (now P. hirtipes). Selected by Benoit Choteau at Pépinières Choteau in Bray, Southern Belgium and named for his grandson.
Prunus (Flowering Cherry) Growing Tips: Best grown in well-drained soil, in full sun to achieve the best flower display and autumn colour. Will tolerate most soil types including chalk and clay.
