Description: Prunus ‘The Bride’ is a large shrub or small tree with dense growth displaying very large single white flowers with distinctive, striking red anthers. New foliage emerges bronze-green, turns fresh green in summer, then orange, red and purple in autumn before falling. A choice tree for the small garden.
History: Selection from the Arboretum Kalmthout, Belgium.
Prunus (Flowering Cherry) Growing Tips: Best grown in well-drained soil, in full sun to achieve the best flower display and autumn colour. Will tolerate most soil types including chalk and clay.
