Description: Prunus ‘Collingwood Ingram’ is a dainty, upright, erect tree with an elegant habit. The bronze tinted young leaves turn green in summer, then red, orange and yellow in autumn before falling. Produces pretty, deep pink single flowers in mid-spring.
History: Collingwood Ingram was chosen by Ingram in 1979 as the most beautiful cherry in a set of ‘Kursar’ seedlings at Arboretum Kalmthout, Belgium.
Prunus (Flowering Cherry) Growing Tips: Best grown in well-drained soil, in full sun to achieve the best flower display and autumn colour. Will tolerate most soil types including chalk and clay.
Height and Spread (after 10 years): 4m x 3m
