Prunus ‘Beni-yutaka’: A medium sized, umbrella shaped, deciduous tree producing semi-double, disc shaped flowers in a unique sugar pink colour with a distinctive dark central eye in mid-late April. The green foliage turns rich crimson in autumn.
Prunus ‘Felix Jury’ An upright, spreading early flowering tree producing deep pink flowers with contrasting golden yellow stamens. The green oval shaped leaves turn yellow-orange in autumn.
Prunus ‘Kanzan’ This variety is known for its vibrant, double purple-pink flowers that bloom in late April. The copper-red spring foliage shifts to green, then bursts into orange by autumn. It grows vigorously, with an upright, spreading shape. Its bold colours and strong growth make it one of the most admired and recognizable varieties.
Prunus ‘The Bride’ A large shrub or small tree with dense growth, featuring large single white flowers with striking red anthers. New bronze-green foliage turns fresh green in summer, then shifts to orange, red, and purple in autumn. An ideal choice for a small garden due to its vibrant seasonal display.
The trees included in the Prunus Blossom Collection are bare root one year old maidens. Their eventual height can reach 3-4m depending on soil conditions and climate. As a bare root tree they will be despatched between November and March when they are dormant and will need pruning to the shape you require when planting.
