Description: Oregon Thornless is a mid-late season blackberry. A reliable thornless form that’s useful for the small garden. Beautiful white flowers during the summer. Well flavoured, dark black juicy fruits. Decorative dark green leaves with excellent autumn colour. A good variety to grow over an arch or trellis.

Blackberry Growing Tips: Happier planted in a sunny, sheltered site but they can tolerate light shade. Prefer moisture-retentive but well-drained soil. Blackberries are vigorous and need regular pruning. Tie in the shoots of newly-planted canes. Once they reach their first winter, cut back all sideshoots on the main cains. If you would like to eat the fruits yourself, don’t forget to cover the plant to stop the birds getting them!
