Description: Nectarella is a dwarf nectarine of very good quality. Orange-red fruits with a delicious sweet flesh, freestone. Like Garden Lady Peach, this genetic dwarf is very slow growing and would be ideal for pot growing, making it very easy to protect this tree under cover in the spring from ‘leaf curl’ disease. The perfect nectarine for growing in a patio or in a small space!
History: Bred in California.
Nectarine Growing Tips: Tolerant to neutral, clay, loam and sandy soils but prefers well drained and moderately fertile. Best planted in a sunny location; on a sheltered wall or under glass or polythene to protect it from frost.
