Description: Mesembrine is the sweetest flat nectarine variety. It’s fruits are distinctively flattened and circular, smooth and yellow flushed red with a juicy melting yellow flesh. Perfect sweet flavours making it delicious when it’s eaten from the tree. Clusters of pretty pink flowers appear in the spring. A unique variety that’s relatively new.
Nectarine Growing Tips: Tolerant to neutral, clay, loam and sandy soils but prefers well drained and moderately fertile. Best planted in a sunny location; on a sheltered wall or under glass or polythene to protect it from frost.
