Description: Martin is one of the earliest varieties. Produces an excellent quality fruit, ripening uniformly. Dark purple, juicy fruits that are delicious made into smoothies, ice creams, yoghurt and fruit tarts. High in anti-oxidants, have superior nutritional values being high in fibre and vitamin C. Beautiful spring blossom and attractive autumn leaf colours.
Juneberry Growing Tips: Can be planted in any good, well-drained soil in a full sun or partial shade location. Their first crop is usually seen after two years of planting. Avoid planting them in a frost pocket. If you would like to eat the fruits yourself, don’t forget to cover the plant to stop the birds getting them!
