Description: Magnolia campbellii ‘Charles Raffill’ is a vigorous, upright, later spreading tree with oblong pointed mid-green leaves. The early large flowers are deep rose-pink in bud, opening rose-purple.
Magnolia Growing Tips: Full sun to part shade lover, best grown in consistently moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soils. Provide sheltered site as buds and flowers may be damaged by cold winds, and late frosts. Shape and size can be controlled by pruning which should be done either immediately after flowering or during late summer.
Height and Spread (after 10 years): 4m x 2m
