Description: King of the Damsons, which can also be known as Bradley’s King is a blue-black bloom and large fruit. Reliable cropper in mid September. Delicious sweet flesh that’s refreshing and sugary but sometimes dry; great for jams, preserves or in a fruit pudding. One of the largest damsons! Beautiful white blossom during the spring.
History: Raised in Nottinghamshire, UK by Mr Bradley. He introduced the fruits to market trade in 1880.
