Full Description

Description: Improved Fertility is an improved, tetraploid self fertile form of the variety ‘Fertility’. Reliable crops of medium sized fruits that are pale green flushed yellow with variable amounts of russet. Flesh is white, tinged green, very sweet and juicy, average quality. A dual purpose variety that can be used for cooking or bottling, also good disease resistance.

History: Discovered by Seabrook’s Nurseries at Boreham, Essex.
