Disease-resistant
Description: Haganta is one of the best recent introductions. Produces large, blue plums with excellent flavour. Superb for cooking into cakes, puddings and jams. Keeps well into November, one of the heaviest cropping varieties and is disease resistant. The flesh is yellow very sweet in flavour and the stone seperates easily from the flesh, freestone. Strong scented fruits and also white flowers appear during the spring. Partially self-fertile.
History: Developed in Germany in 2005. Very popular throughout Germany.
