Description: Gordon Castle is a native hardy plum for northern districts. Slightly later fruiting than other varieties. Fruits are greenish-yellow with a sweet, excellent flavour. Delicious when it’s picked and eaten straight from the tree. Stunning white blossom appears during the spring.
History: Raised in Scotland in about 1864.
