Description: Fiona is a heavy cropping, compact cider apple. Fruit is yellow with orange-brown flush. Mild bitter-sharp, acid slightly sweet taste, low tannin and lacking body. Good angles, strong leader and excellent for intensive planting. A healthy tree being scab free and has some susceptibility to mildew.
History: A selection from the Long Ashton breeding programme in the 1990s.
