Description: Edda is an excellent dessert plum. Produces a reliable crop of blue skinned fruits in August that have yellow flesh with a fine rich, juicy flavour. Grows well in difficult conditions so suitable for northern climates. Beautiful white blossoms appear during the spring.
History: Developed at the State Experimental Station near Oslo in Norway during 1950s.
