Tolerates coastal sites
Description: Moderate growing evergreen conifer forming a dense growing, pyramidal shaped column of feathery, silvery blue-grey foliage set on reddish purple branches. Grows in a variety of soil conditions (provided they’re well-drained), and thrives in a full sun exposure.
History: Originated as a seedling selected in 1960 by Duncan & Davies Nursery, New Plymouth, New Zealand who subsequently introduced it to the nursery trade in 1984.
Cupressus Growing Tips: Happy in most soils as long as they are well-drained. Plant in a sheltered position in full sun.
