Description: Dwarf evergreen, low growing shrub that is great for covering over an awkward area and also for suppressing weeds. The dense dark green foliage is speckled with creamy white flowers in summer which form berries of an orange/red hue by the autumn, which make a feast for the birds.
History: Received the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit in 1993.
Cotoneaster Growing Tips: Best planted in full sun or partial shade, and thrive is fertile soils but will tolerate any soil as long as it’s well-drained.
