Parentage: Cox’s Orange Pippin x Bramley’s Seedling
Description: Cobra is the perfect dual purpose apple with a fine dessert flavour developing by mid winter. It is a fine cooking apple from mid September onwards having a refreshing acidic, tangy quality for a multitude of culinary uses from firm baked apples to pie fillings. In all cases requiring little added sugar.
History: Bred by Hugh Ermen, Kent in 2007. The name Cobra is made up from the first letters of each parent tree!
