Description: This unique Cercis or Redbud has a very steep pendulous shape and multi-branching nature making it the finest weeping Cercis available. Even in winter when it has no foliage the architectural form looks great. It also exhibits good vigour even in northern climes. The leaves are heart shaped and are a glowing golden yellow/green colour which really stand out. In May the weeping form is covered in pretty pink pea like flowers which are excellent at attracting bees and butterflies. The eventual shape is a natural very tight columnar form. A stunning new tree for all gardens, large or small.
Cercis Growing Tips: Fully hardy and will grow in most soils though prefers a sunny spot. Can be pruned hard to contain shape or left to grow into its natural graceful form.
Height and Spread (after 10 years): 2m x 1m
