Description: A standout from other purple-leaved redbuds, Cercis ‘Ace of Spades’ features extremely deep purple colouration almost to the point the leaves appear black. Glossy leaves keep their intense colour well through summer. Bright lavender flowers appear in spring before the foliage.
Cercis Growing Tips: Performs best in moderately fertile well drained soils. The best flower production occurs in full sun but part shade is best in hot summer climates.
