Description: Ceanothus arboreus ‘Trewithen Blue’, also known as California Lilac, is a fantastic evergreen tree with profuse, dark blue flowers which are slightly scented. They emerge in clusters from April through to June. It’s a very popular tree with bees and other pollinating insects, due to the masses of flowers that cover them. A vigorous rangy form, not the hardiest but certainly one of the most beautiful.
Height and Spread (after 10 years): 4m x 4m
