Description: Carpinus betulus ‘Lucas’ grows in an erect pyramidal habit. Narrow as a young tree broadening with age. A particularly good upright form. Perfect used for screening purposes or planted in a row along a drive or avenue. The dark green leaves turn into golden yellow during the autumn.
Carpinus Growing Tips: Suitable grown in heavy, wet or chalky soils. Prefer to be planted in a full sun or partial shade position.
