Description: A chance find in Oxfordshire, this apple is very special. Sweeter than Cox and with an improved delicious aromatic flavour, crunchy, crisp and juicy. Can be picked and eaten over a few weeks from mid September onwards and stores well.
History: The name Bladon Pippin came about because the original tree grew just a stone’s throw from Bladon Church, where our Prime Minister Winston Churchill was laid to rest in 1965 and of course, it is a Pippin!
