Description: A super sweet, aromatic flavour with medium-sized fruits. Green foliage in the spring which turns attractive red into the summer and late autumn. Resistance to mildew and leaf spot.
Blackcurrant Growing Tips: Best planted in a sunny position that’s sheltered from cold winds and late frosts. Prefer moisture-retentive soils that are well-drained but will tolerate a wide range of soils. When planting in the autumn or spring, cut back all of the shoots after planting. Although it will lose it’s first year fruits, it will benefit the bush long term.
