Description: Aprikyra is a new exciting interspecific cross between and an Apricot and Cherry. Produces red/purple roundish fruits which resemble round plums or red apricots and have very distinct unique flavour of cherry. Flowering is after apricots so it should miss the early frosts. The juicy dark purple red fruits ripen in July. Frost resistant, self-fertile and very productive.
Cherrycot Growing Tips: Like any apricot it should be grown in a sheltered site if possible with well draining soil.
