Description: Acer shirasawanum ‘Autumn Moon’, also known as Moonrise or Fullmoon Maple is a bushy tree which creates dramatic spring green-orange foliage. In the autumn the leaves turn to burnt orange and red. Cream and pink flowers appear in the spring, and are held in upright spreading clusters followed by winged greenish brown fruits.
Acer Growing Tips: Very easy to grow in a wide range of well-drained soils. They thrive in sun but with partial shade to protect the leaves from scorch. A sheltered area away from strong winds is preferred.
