Description: Acer pseudoplatanus ‘Simon-Louis Freres’ is a slow growing, broadly spreading tree with delightful variegated foliage. The leaves are a stunning dusky pink in the spring, becoming green, cream and pink with blotches in the summer. Autumn brings with it golden and bronzed leaf colours. Can be hard pruned to control size and to enhance the spectacular leaves.
Acer Growing Tips: Very easy to grow in a wide range of well-drained soils. They thrive in sun but with partial shade to protect the leaves from scorch. A sheltered area away from strong winds is preferred.
Height and Spread (after 10 years) : 6m x 4m
