Description: Acer palmatum ‘Linearilobum’ is a unique variety with long, narrow divided leaves which make this Japanese maple very special. The light green, bamboo-like foliage are divided to the base into remotely serrated lobes. Stunning, bright yellow colours appear in the autumn. Perfect for small gardens or planting in a large container.
History: Introduced in 1867. Received an Award of Garden Merit from The Royal Horticultural Society in 1896.
Acer Growing Tips: Very easy to grow in a wide range of well-drained soils. They thrive in sun but with partial shade to protect the leaves from scorch. A sheltered area away from strong winds is preferred.
