The young leaves with a broad, soft pink salmon coloured margin changing to white, often green at first; shoots glaucous-bloomed. This tree can be pruned hard in early spring creating a superb exotic foliage effect in late summer. Attractive grey-white stems during the winter. Perfect for growing in a small garden due to its narrow canopy.
History: Raised in the Netherlands before 1976.
Acer Growing Tips: Very easy to grow in a wide range of well-drained soils. They thrive in sun but with partial shade to protect the leaves from scorch. A sheltered area away from strong winds is preferred.
